Retro robots - mini sculptures and jewellery by upcycling electronic waste

Tomislav Zidar is a Croatian jewellery and installation designer, visual artist and has been active for more than twenty years. He has exhibited his work at numerous art festivals and fairs as well as in galleries in Croatia and abroad. The Zagreb-based artist likes to retreat to his studio and create robotic creatures from discarded technology, which then continue their lives in the hands of many happy people. His works are sold all over the world and are characterised by very delicate, detailed realisation. At DIWO Week 2024, we will learn together with the participants how to create very high-quality jewellery and design objects from electronic waste.
