Workshop

Computer-controlled machines allow us to create new products ever more precisely and quickly. It is therefore understandable that the industry uses these tools extensively. But private individuals, makers and artists all over the world are also fascinated by them. By creating digital data, simple to complex shapes can be created almost effortlessly and reproduced with a high degree of repeat accuracy. CNC milling machines, 3D printers and laser cutters are omnipresent. Dirk Groß and Simon Kurze are qualified product designers and their workshop will provide a brief insight into their working world and the use of a laser cutter. They will show how an idea can be turned into a product with the help of pen, paper and computer. The aim is to create stamps and stencils that also build a bridge to classic duplication methods.
