On both sides of the desk they sit, the poor dogs. A Hartz IV recipient (the poor dog) is given a mutt (also a poor dog) as an integration measure. Unfortunately, he hates them.

The official from the labour office (this is now the third poor dog) has to justify the absurd measure. A dog psychologist and an animal shelter counsellor provide additional information on the subject. And it becomes clear: our dogs' lives only get really bad with the right counselling.

GERÄUSCHKULISSE e.V.

As radio producers and enthusiastic listeners of radio plays, features and sound art, we ask ourselves: What does the audience hear? What do they experience? What pleases? Irritated? Astonished? Enthusiastic? And what were the makers thinking? How was the play created? What was not told? And why?

That's why we meet and listen carefully - together with authors and audience. Because together we listen differently - with sharpened ears and sharpened perception. We establish for radio plays, features and sound art what has long been common practice for other art forms with cinema tours, reading tours and vernissages. We bring audio art out of the niche and into the city. It all happens in a cosy atmosphere. No podium discussions. No frontal teaching. Instead, an exchange at eye level.

The Geräuschkulisse is a forum for everyone who enjoys listening to good stories and exploring worlds of sound.
