From the collective to the space

‘From the collective to the space’ In summer 2020, a new hackerspace community was created in the heart of Zurich as a collective endeavour in a merger of CCCZH, SGMK, DigiGes and LUGS. (Chaos Computer Club Zurich, Swiss Society for Mechatronic Art, Digital Society, Linux User Group Switzerland). On the third floor of the Alte Zentralwäscherei, a space has been created for regular exchanges between the respective communities, a public hardware/ware workshop is operated (MechArtLab and Hackteria Open Science Lab), workshops and lectures are organised, and meals are cooked and eaten together.
