Economy and autonomy in cultural creation

Mutan-Lab was founded in 2018 in Barcelona, in the beautiful neighbourhood of Horta, and built collaboratively, DIY/DIT between Mutan Monkey Instruments and the music collective ‘Ojala este mi Bici’ and has established itself as a cultural association for sound research with a focus on electronics and electroacoustics. The space works collectively, in self-management without external funding and aims to promote the exchange of knowledge and the creation of new forms to find other ways of generating music. For the lecture, co-founder Robert Martinez Live will talk about the development of the project.
