MUNKA : WEBER

Anne Munka and Alwin Weber worked together for the first time in 2015 as part of the Lyrik-trifft Klangkunst series ‘Lyrik ist Happening’. The two are united by a pronounced tendency to push the boundaries and an unpretentious desire to explore and expand their sonic expressive possibilities. Language is virtuously fragmented, vocals are electronically alienated, textures and surfaces are built up and travelled through - all with a playful freedom that leans towards punk and poetry.

TRAS

TRAS is an Abstract Improv Electro Acoustics Drum Voices Noise Duo from Berlin consisting of the two musicians Asja Skrinik (electronics + vocals) & Teresa Riemann (drums + vocals).

"Bursting electronic rubbish, hammering beats, mingling voices from distant planets. A journey through a vast desert. The wind blows fiercely, the water is scarce, the petrol is running out. Heart and brain in sweet collapse, the nerves give way, leaving the skin wide open, the joy accelerates, and yet you are heading for another accident, with no desire to step on the brakes. We are here to live it all."

Transist/Or

Noise psych kraut rock. Deep drones meet chaos and glitches, floating arpeggios are layered over jazzy motorik beats. The freshly combined project of the three Dresden musicians is an electronic analogue experiment from the Metaknoten environment and will be premiered tonight.
